Court Rental Rules
Every player agrees to these rules when reserving a court. They come from the club's Customer Policies. Read the full Customer Policies.
01Booking & Check-In
3 rules
Pay before you check in
Court reservations must be paid in full before the booking group checks in.
Up to six registered players per court
Each reserved court allows a maximum of six registered players, and front desk staff check players in under the reservation. Groups of more than six must book additional courts.
Multi-shuttle training and organized events need a reservation
Multi-shuttle drills, classes, tournaments, competitions and other organized events require a paid court reservation and may need management approval. Walk-in admission does not cover them.
02Court Usage
4 rules
Use only the courts you booked
Play only on the court or courts you reserved, and only during your confirmed time. A reservation does not grant access to other reserved courts or the walk-in courts.
Be on time: late arrival doesn't extend your booking
Start your session on time.
Your reservation ends at its scheduled time, however late your group arrives.
Vacate the court when your booking ends
To keep playing, ask the front desk for an extension at the court rate (subject to availability) or buy walk-in admission to use the walk-in courts.
Court assignments may change
Royal Badminton may adjust court assignments for facility operations. A preferred court, or an alternative date or time, is not guaranteed.
03Cancellations & Rescheduling
2 rules
Cancellations are nonrefundable
Once a court reservation is confirmed, cancelling it yourself does not qualify for a refund.
Reschedule at least 24 hours ahead
Submit rescheduling requests at least 24 hours before the reservation begins. New times depend on court availability and management approval; requests inside 24 hours may not be accommodated.
04Walk-In Play
3 rules
Reservations take priority
Walk-in admission covers shared play on unreserved courts only. When a confirmed reservation or scheduled program begins, walk-in players must stop and leave that court right away, even mid-game.
First come, first served: two games, then rotate
Walk-in players wait in arrival order. The winner stays and the loser rotates off, and no one plays more than two games in a row, whatever the results.
Follow staff court assignments
Walk-in players check in on their own, not under a reserved court, and must follow staff instructions on court assignment and access.
05Facility & Conduct
5 rules
Non-marking court shoes only
Wear suitable non-marking athletic shoes on court. Crocs, sandals, slippers and other floor-marking footwear are not permitted.
Keep the courts clean
Put shuttle tubes, bottles, packaging and other trash in the regular gym trash cans, and leave your court and the area around it clean.
Court-side bins are for used shuttles only.
Report spills right away
You're responsible for your food and drinks. Tell a staff member about any spill immediately and stay clear of the area until it's safe.
Respect other players and the facility
Don't cross active courts during rallies or disrupt others' play. Report damaged or unsafe equipment to staff; customers responsible for damage may be asked to pay for repair or replacement.
Royal Badminton is not responsible for personal belongings
Keep your belongings with you. The club does not take responsibility for lost, stolen, damaged or unattended items.
